Join us at Soul Space Berkeley for a poetry open mic hosted by author poet and educator JR Rice with a poetry performance by Modesto's Poet Laureate She Spits Fire and a musical performance by neo-soul singer songwriter and guitarist Leair followed by a panel discussion on creativity and mental health. Angela Mason-Drew (She Spits Fire) is an author mother dancer poet spoken word performer and self-proclaimed linguistic artist who has loved the rhythm and sounds of words for as long as she can remember. His goal is to be known as a prominent musician whose lyrics melodies composition and productions touches the hearts and minds of his listeners.
