Seetechi Goshta is a powerful long-form narrative by renowned Marathi writer Dr. Aruna Dhere. The story delves into Sita’s emotional and spiritual journey after being abandoned by Lord Rama. What thoughts stirred in her mind? What emotional turmoil did she face? How was her life in Sage Valmiki’s hermitage? Seetechi Goshta explores these unspoken moments through a sensitive and imaginative lens.

This literary presentation features a dramatized abhiwachan (reading) of Seetechi Goshta, followed by an insightful discussion. The session will be presented by scholar, storyteller, editor of the book and performer Dr. Vandana Bokil-Kulkarni.

Dr. Aruna Dhere is a Sahitya Akademi award-winning author known for her deep-rooted literary and cultural explorations in Marathi literature.
