Intro to Yoga for Bone Health - Evenings
Yoga has been proven to increase bone mineral density, as well as to improve posture and balance, all factors important in keeping us healthy and active throughout our lives. Join Yoga Mandali teacher Jael Polnac for a four-week practice of the poses and techniques proven to protect and improve your bone health.
Jael trained with Dr. Loren Fishman (the author of Yoga for Osteoporosis) and completed his 40-hour Yoga for Bone Health program. Each week she and her students will practice a new series of the yoga poses recommended by Dr. Fishman and learn the principles and methodology key to improving bone health.
This series is appropriate for anyone concerned about their bone mineral density, whether theyβve been diagnosed with osteopenia or osteoporosis, or are simply interested in learning how to prevent bone loss in the future.
REGISTRATION:
Tuesdays 6:00pm-7:00pm
September 9th - September 30th
$90 for 4-week series, pre-registration required, limited space
