Non-Violence Training

Individuals are welcome to attend a nonviolence training workshop, with an emphasis on peace-keeping. It will take place 7:00- 9:00 pm, Wednesday, Aug. 20 in the Fellowship Hall of Rock Bridge Christian Church, 301 Green Meadows Rd., Columbia 65203 (A parking lot is located on the north side of the church). The workshop will include a discussion of verbal and nonverbal nonviolent communication and de-escalation techniques, peace-keeping roles at marches and other demonstrations, plus role-playing.
