Granville Block Party
Downtown Van proudly presents the third annual Granville Block Party, a free, family-friendly, two-day street festival in the heart of the Granville Entertainment District.
Happening Saturday, August 23 and Sunday, August 24 from 1 PM – 7 PM, the event brings together live music, market vendors, kid-friendly fun, and the local businesses that make Granville Street a vibrant destination year-round.

WHERE: Granville & Robson intersection (700 & 800 blocks)
ADMISSION: Free!
This year’s event will feature four stages with curated stage takeovers by Van Vogue Jam, and Locals Lounge, plus a brand-new Dance Stage showcasing artists from Harbour Dance Centre and swing dancing courtesy of Vancouver Civic Theatres.
Two on-site bars will be operated by our beverage partner, Red Truck Beer Company, alongside The Little Margarita Wagon who will be serving Granville-themed alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Food options include street eats from Los Elotes, Mr. Arancino, and Peace Sweetz.
Attendees can also look forward to:
- Vintage Market takeover from Leo’s Clothing Supply (Saturday, August 23) and VHS Markets selling local homemade goods (Sunday August 24).
- Interactive activations and booths from local businesses including The North Face, Domino’s Pizza, The Rec Room Granville, Wirth Hats and El Furniture Warehouse.
- Outdoor lawn games sponsored by Parq Casino | BCLC.
- Kids Zone with mini golf, arts and crafts workshops, and roving street performers.
