Summer Choral Academy 3-Day Workshop

It’s not too late for your students to register for the very first NWVA Summer Choral Academy! We are kicking off what we plan to be a multi-week summer vocal/choral academy serving students grades PK-12, with a 3-day intensive workshop July 30-August 1. Our AM session (9am-Noon) will focus on solo vocal techniques and will be led by master vocal technicians Alishia Garcia and Nicholas Meyer! The PM session (1-4pm) will be led by Karen Bohart and myself and will focus on choral rehearsal etiquette and technique through work on Robert Ray’s Gospel Mass. Final concert Aug. 1 @ 6pm free and open to the public! Gospel expert and American Idol finalist, Aisea Poulivaati, will coach singers on improvisational techniques. Singers will also work with NWVA pro choral mentors! We are offering all of this to singers for just $50 per session or $80 for the day!
