Callers Workshop With Ang DeCarlis

Hello callers! Ang DeCarlis, a wonderful caller from the west coast, will be holding a callers workshop before our August dance, at the nearby Dance Complex.

Ang is a career educator with over a decade of calling contras under their belt. They used to be local to the area and are back for a visit and a calling tour (check out your local dances to see if you can catch their calling). The workshop will have a big focus on musicality, but otherwise will be tailored to interest and who shows up, potential other topics including how to do great walkthroughs, what makes a dance worth calling (or less so), and what goes into programming for an evening.

Sliding scale $15-40. No one turned away for lack of funds
