Snap action at Paul Scully’s electorate office in Wollongong

Join us for a quick colourful action outside the office of the Minister for Planning, Paul Scully, to demand a fair go for communities up against mining giants.

Coal corporation Yancoal wants to expand its dirty Moolarben coal mine near Mudgee, right into the heart of one of the most important koala habitats in the state and across a beautiful valley surrounded on three sides by the magnificent Munghorn Gap Nature Reserve.

But a legal loophole means that the community may be stripped of the right to appeal against this koala-killing coal mine, if a decision is made to approve it.

Now, we need your help to tell Planning Minister and Wollongong MP Paul Scully that the community won’t be silenced. We don’t want another koala-killing coal mine and we’re demanding a fair go to have our voices heard.

This is Paul Scully’s first big test on coal as Planning Minister - he’ll get to decide whether we keep our rights or not. Let’s make sure that he hears loud and clear from the community that we won’t be silenced.
