Standish New Release Long Lunch

“Come quickly, for I am seeing unicorns!”. You’re right – these were not the words of Dom Perignon, rather a certain Darren Davis when the annual allocation of Standish arrived at our warehouse last week. With only a handful of bottles of each wine, it is tempting to sell them straight away… but as you know we do believe great wine is for sharing, so we thought we’d sacrifice a couple in the name of a great Long Lunch! It also gives us the chance to taste the four wines side by side – a rare treat indeed. Book-ended with a good old Riesling and some VP from the cellar, this has the makings of an epic lunch. Adrian and team are putting together a suitably special menu, which we’ll enjoy in the Private Dining Room whilst we chase (or should we say, taste) those unicorns.
