Blues Repertoire Development with Pamela Rose

Blues singers are always looking for fresh material to deepen their repertoire. In this intensive three-part workshop, participants will work on developing two 12-bar blues songs and learn how to interpret them in a way that suits their unique voice and style. With expert guidance from vocalist Pamela Rose and guitarist Danny Caron—co-leaders of the acclaimed Blues Vocal Funshop—students will explore song interpretation and vocal styling, intros, endings, rhythmic variations, arranging tools, and bandstand communication strategies. The final session will feature performances with a full rhythm section including bass and drums, simulating a live gig environment. This workshop is open to intermediate and advanced singers. Pre-approval is required; please contact Pamela Rose at cHJvc2UgfCBjamMgISBlZHU= before registering.
