Bone Tones Cajun Dance

The Bone Tones band were the upper-Midwest’s premier Cajun band from the late 1980s through the early 2000s. They came from the Minneapolis/St. Paul area in Minnesota (in the northern part of the Louisiana purchase!) Over the course of their 14-year run introduced Cajun music and dance to a generation of enthusiasts at dance halls, festivals, taverns – mainly in the Midwestern US, but they also travelled a bit nationally and internationally. They were credited with being one of the first bands outside Louisiana to play top-notch, world-class Cajun music. Two-time winners of the Cajun French Music Association’s “Prix Dehors de Nous” for the best recording of Cajun music by a band from outside Louisiana, their recordings can still be heard on Louisiana radio stations to this day.

Their music is straight-ahead, high-energy, authentic Cajun dancehall-style music – two-steps, waltzes, blues, and fiddle tunes – played on Cajun accordion, fiddle, steel guitar, bass, guitar, drums/triangle, and Cajun French vocals.

Doors will open at 7 pm. Pop Wagner will be the emcee.
