TRAD II : Portraits of Local Irish Musicians

For those of you who missed the big show in January, or for those of you who want to see it again, the "local musicians" portion of the TRAD project is now on display at Studio IX in Downtown Charlottesville, and will run through August 31. On August First Fridays we will have an "opening" reception, though the show has been up for a few weeks now. This is a series of local Irish musicians, including Matthew O'Donnell, Tes Slominski, Alex Davis, Marie Borgman, Fiona Balestrieri, Seth Swingle, Matthew Olwell, and many others. The event is part of a year-long celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Blue Ridge Irish Music School. Please come and enjoy some food, drink, and portraits of your favorite local musicians. And mark your calendar, on August 28 (which is a Thursday), we will have a closing event with a very brief talk followed by a whole lot of great music. So come all ye!
