The Gymkhana is the brainchild of Patch Hannan (The Sundays), Jason Applin (Bennet) and Matt Dyson. This year they released their debut album ‘Follyfoot 71-73’ featuring a host of indie guest stars. Now they return to South Street to perform the album in full, as a fully seated, full media evening of joy.
‘It is most marvellous, featuring an array of sparkling offbeat cult heroes and recalls a little the laidback musical adventurism of the early Seventies folksters (Caravan, Kevin Ayers). A smashing day out for all!’ Everett True
Support comes from Preston’s acoustic troubadour One Sided Horse and eighties influenced electro pop maestro Skylephant.
This is a seated show.
Tickets £12.50
Age guidance: All ages (under 14s must be accompanied by an adult)
Running times: Doors 7pm; Music from 7.30pm
