Join us to learn more about the
fascinating world of nocturnal insects! As the sun sets and forest comes to life, we’ll explore how moths, beetles, crickets,
spiders and other creatures navigate in the dark. A staff naturalist and local ‘bug’ experts from FSS will demonstrate blacklight
moth-attracting techniques and iNaturalist app for citizen science. We’ll lead a short hike to look for spider eyes and evidence
of other nocturnal animals. Bring a flashlight, dress for the outdoors, and wear sturdy walking shoes. This program is
sponsored by FSS. For more information, call 712-258-0838 or email Y2FtcHMgfCB3b29kYnVyeXBhcmtzICEgb3Jn.
