Rising Iris began as a passion project, born from a lifelong love of music. Fronted by pianist and vocalist Cara Morantz, the group delivers a vibrant blend of popular genres—infusing each performance with energy, heart, and familiar hits that resonate with a wide range of audiences. Whether performing as solo act, duo, or with full band, Rising Iris brings an upbeat, engaging experience that can fit any setting—from cozy corners of restaurants and bars, to lively outdoor stages.

The band has performed at a variety of beloved Birmingham venues, including Avondale Apothecary, Elysian Gardens, Farrelly's Southern Bar & Kitchen, Jubilee Joe's, and the Pepper Place Farmers Market.
