WYRD WAR PRESENTS: TRICK OR TREAT (1986) A TRIBUTE TO OZZY!

WYRD WAR invites YOU to Halloween in August! As the world continues to mourn the loss of John “Ozzy” Osbourne, we ignite our electric funeral pyre in celebration of The Dark Prince’s legacy with a one-night-only screening of Charles Martin Smith’s horror comedy classic TRICK OR TREAT (1986) on the very big screen at Hollywood Theatre!

Mark Price stars as Eddie “Ragman” Weinbauer, the quintessential 80s heavy metal everydude, who is picked on in mainstream circles but finds power in the underworld of his own imagination. After his hero Sammi Curr dies in a hotel fire, Ragman is gifted an acetate of Curr’s last recording by local radio personality Nuke, played by Gene Simmons of KISS, and he soon discovers – through backward messages hidden in the grooves of the record – that the spirit of Sammi Curr is planning to return through the airwaves to exact his terrible Carrie-esque revenge on the students of Lakeridge High School during their Halloween Ball. Can Ragman stop the demonic power of Sammi Curr in time to save the world and win the affection of his crush Leslie? You won’t even care by the time Ozzy shows up in one of his few feature film cameo appearances as “satanic panic” televangelist Reverend Aaron Gilstrom. “Don’t Stop The Fight!”

Enjoy vintage Ozzy music videos before the film at 7:30pm. Tickets are on sale NOW. LONG LIVE OZZY!
