Thames Chase BioBlitz: A free family event

Come and discover what’s living here at Thames Chase at our BioBlitz event on Wednesday 13th August. Join us at the Thames Chase Forest Centre from 11am -3pm for this fabulous Free event!

‘Bio’ means ‘life’ and ‘Blitz’ means ‘to do something quickly’. Together they make ‘BioBlitz’! A race against the clock to discover as many species of plants and animals as possible. A BioBlitz is a fun way to create a snapshot of the variety of life that can be found in an area.
With activities for kids, grown-ups, beginners and experts alike there is something for everyone at a BioBlitz. There will be sweep netting in the meadow, trays of pond creatures to discover, butterflies and moths to see and much more! This event is free to attend and no pre-booking is required.

Please wear suitable clothing and ensure children are accompanied by an adult at all times.
