In "I Don't Have a Maths GCSE", Mia Borthwick takes us on a laugh-out-loud musical comedy journey through her own insecurities and low self-esteem after being diagnosed with dyscalculia. From struggling with school to feeling like a failure in her career, Mia turns her personal struggles into relatable and hilarious anecdotes. Whether you've failed an exam or still don’t have a clue what algebra is, this show is a reminder that our individual quirks and foibles can make us all the more interesting in the end.

Mia is an actor, theatre maker, and musician from a place where the sea is just out of reach… Weston-super-Mare.

She trained in Performing Arts at University Centre Weston and has since taken two five-star shows to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Mia is the co-founder of theatre company MeMonster, with whom she recently co-created, performed, and toured the original show Nudgement Day in 2024.

She also co-founded local cabaret collective From The Mud, and regularly brings outlandish characters to life in cabaret shows across the South West.

Mia is currently diving deeper into the world of play and performance through a short training course at the Bristol Clown School.
