Gulf Coast Village is excited to invite the public as we initiate a monthly forum featuring engaging topics given by rotating Florida Southwestern College professors!

Join us for a captivating journey through one of the world’s most iconic museums—the Louvre. In Treasures of the Louvre, we’ll explore stunning photographs of its most renowned masterpieces, from the Mona Lisa to the Winged Victory of Samothrace. Along the way, you’ll hear fascinating stories behind the art and gain insider perspectives from this extraordinary museum—including how to find a lesser-known secret entrance. Whether you’re an art enthusiast or simply curious, this presentation offers a personal and visually rich experience of a cultural treasure trove visited by over nine million people each year.

Jerold Greenfield is a college professor, currently teaching Freshman Composition at FSW. At previous colleges and universities he has taught Humanities, Art History, Theatre and Acting, and Wine Appreciation. He is the author of six books and lives in Fort Myers with his wife of 31 years and eight cats.
