A workshop for kids interested in space and art!

Explore the fascinating world of asteroids and meteorites - ancient space rocks flying around our Solar System!

Make a colourful suncatcher artwork based on the beautiful minerals inside of a meteorite and crash your own asteroid to form an impact crater. We will look at why some space rocks are weird lumpy shapes whilst others are spherical and take a look at recent space missions to collect samples from asteroids.

The sessions are lots of fun, educational with hands-on making too. Parents must stay for the hour - there are seats, tea & coffee so please feel free to stay and chill.

Spire Room at Wagner Hall, West St Brighton 10:30-11:30
£12 including materials, your child will make a space artwork to keep. Sibling discount.
With artist and teacher Julie McDermott. Full DBS.
