Last summer open Sunday

Hello its that time again our last Open Sunday of the Summer 27th July, because of the hosepipe ban I was toying with the idea of cancelling but after a great response at the Fawley fete decided we would open and have a plant sale reducing all the summer stock to Β£6.00. The plants are still looking great with lots of colour. Looking at my own garden which I've watered this year just with washing up and the water you β€˜waste’ before the hot water gets hot it is surprising how good it still looks. Clematis and roses, Alstroemeria, crocosmia, geraniums, and rudbeckia are all still flowering and at Copthorne Achillea and Echinacea are doing well. The recent rain has been very welcome and helped to replenish the IBC tanks which we've been using to water the new planting, particularly the cherry trees and the new fruit trees.
The Lodge now has its roof and doors and we will be making a start on the ramp tomorrow so hopefully that will be well on the way to finishing
