Sooke Region Museum invites you to celebrate local food and community at the Sooke CRABFEST fundraiser!
The afternoon festivities will feature a mouth-watering meal of fresh local Dungeness crab, corn on the cob, homemade coleslaw and bread. Crab will be cooked onsite and served long-table style outside on the Museum lawn.
To accompany the meal, enjoy live music on the outdoor stage, and a cash bar operated by the Sooke Community Association.
Tickets go on sale Sunday 27 July at noon online - $50 each.
Tickets can be purchased in person or by phone during Museum open hours- online anytime.
Funds raised at the event will help restore glass panels in the Triangle Island Lighthouse. The Lighthouse was originally installed on Triangle Island in 1910 and moved to the Museum in 2005.
