The Ceilidh Club

Come down and enjoy 3 hours of fun, laughter and dance.

What is the Ceilidh Club?
The Ceilidh Club is a taste of Scotland in London. Enjoy 3 hours of the best fun – a live band keeps you moving, and a caller guides you through the steps – it’s perfect for the absolute beginner or the experienced ceilidh dancer.

Here are some things to remember. First, the caller explains each dance before you do it and gives instructions during the dance. Other dancers help you on your way, so all you have to do is get stuck in and dance your socks off. It helps if you listen to the caller and try to dance considerately.

There’s a lovely cafe, a traditional bar and the friendliest cloakroom staff you’ll find anywhere. The cafe serves home-cooked light meals, and the bar is reasonable (for London, anyway). There is a Happy Hour between 7-8

What is the schedule for the Ceilidh Club night?
The doors open at 7 PM, and dancing is from 8-11 with a break halfway to catch your breath. The sprung dance floor is excellent. There is no dress code, but we appreciate tartan (and you look good in it, too). The hall has an air cooling system; please remember to wear something comfy for dancing. The night ends with the Robert Burns Song Auld Lang Syne

How much are tickets for the Ceilidh Club?

Tickets cost £25 full price or £19 concession, and they can be bought from www.ceilidhclub.com/tickets. We use Stripe to take payments, and you can simply use your credit/debit card.

The tickets are virtual. Just so you know, all you need to bring along is your Stripe receipt. You will sometimes get another email with a QR code. Although we don’t use the QR code, you can bring this along.

Concession tickets are available to students, the unemployed, the retired, NHS staff, and Blue Light card holders. Please bring proof of status with you.
