Wild Day 2025

The Moss Wood Wild Day returns for 2025 - and this year it is all about the bees!
Find out more about bees from the amazing experts from Cross Apiary - with honey and a show hive to see how the bees do what they do. You can also join the tours to get up close and personal with the real, working beehives on the Moss Wood nature reserve (weather dependent). Beekeeper suits will be provided but you'll have to wear boots to protect your ankles.
You can also make your own bee drinking stations - which are growing more important each year as the weather gets hotter and with more intense dry spells - to help keep your local bees alive and well, and doing their important pollinating work to keep the ecosystem thriving! Plus more bee-based arts and crafts for all ages to get involved in on the day.
