๐ถ The Saint Paul Get Down, our Cityโs hip-hop showcase, is back โ and youโre invited! Join us for a full day of music, creativity, and community as young local artists (ages 14โ24) take the stage. These emerging performers will have spent the summer working with mentors and shaping their craft. The final showcase of the summer season will be:
๐ Friday, August 22
๐ 3โ10 PM *music begins at 4pm
๐ Harriet Island Regional Park
๐ค Featuring headliner Brother Ali โ Minneapolis hip-hop icon and powerful voice for justice, music, and community.
Additional performers include Juice Lord , Dwynell Roland, student 1, and hosted by Terrell X (aka Carnage The Executioner).
This FREE outdoor event is open to all. Bring your friends, a chair or blanket, and come support the next generation of artists in Saint Paul. We couldn't do this without our partners, COMPAS, Keystone Best Buy Teen Tech Center, and WFNU 94.1 FM Frogtown Community Radio.
Donโt want to wait until August? We are hosting four other performances at Saint Paul parks, recreation centers, and community partners throughout the summer. View the schedule (and apply to be part of this summerโs showcase) at www.stpaul.gov/musicintheparks.
