OFFERING FREE SUMMER PLEIN AIR SESSIONS
The Arnprior Library and the Arnprior Art Loft are jointly facilitating free summer plein air sessions:
WHEN: Every Monday morning, starting June 30 for all of July, August and September. RAIN OR SHINE
WHERE: Participants will meet at the Gazebo at Robert Simpson Park at 10 am until 12 noon. There is lots of parking there... The gazebo offers shelter if is raining and a starting point. As we move further into the sessions, we will explore other locations and options.
WHO IS LEADING THIS: Liz Campbell is leading these sessions. She is a local artist who has been on many plein air excursions both locally and internationally. She currently exhibits her work at the Arnrior Art Loft.
WHAT TO BRING:
1. hat, bug spray, sunscreen, water bottle
2. a portable seat/stool.
3. a clipboard/sketchbook/notebook
4. bring at least one of the following - graphite pencils, micro pens, kneadable eraser, pastels, watercolours, watercolour pencils, coloured pencils. Not to worry if you donβt have any of these items. A pencil will do just fine. We will talk about a supply list.
WHO: all ages are welcome but children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
