Denty Westlake

Paul Westlake (Nat Adderly, Jimmy Bruno, Lynne Arriale, etc.) and Rob Denty (Jon Faddis and The Chicago Jazz Ensemble, Joe Lovano, Christian McBride, Aretha Franklin etc.) began their journey in Jacksonville, Florida 25 years ago where they co-founded musical groups marking the beginning of their collaboration. The early 2000s brought them to Chicago where the duo thrived in the Chicago jazz scene.

Their musical tastes are diverse while remaining deeply rooted in the jazz tradition. The group’s repertoire includes originals and carefully chosen songs from the American and Jazz songbook focusing on originality and creative expression.
