Greetings baseball fans!
9 great innings of great baseball!
Before the game, we’ll determine the home and away squads by doing the traditional hand over hand bat toss.
Color guard, national anthem and Blue Angels flyover followed by goodtime sandlot baseball all simulcast on ESPN 8 (The OCHO).
Maybe grab a post-game brew or two.
Grit City Sandlot is a group for those that are wanting to play baseball in Tacoma but don't have a team to play on.
We are not a league.
Grit City Sandlot is a low-competition, no-investment way to play baseball in the south Puget Sound area.
Everybody is welcome (18+).
• Coed and all inclusive
• Wood bats
• We have fielders gloves, baseball bats and batting helmets that players can borrow
• Dock Ellis League rules*
*Dock Ellis is a punk rock baseball "league", our game is played by traditional baseball rules except there are no called balls or strikes, and no stealing.
