The Spyros (also known as The Reindeer or The Clyde) wreck is located off the Isle of Wight, where the iron steamer sank in 1921 after taking on water during a storm. It lies at around 30 meters depth and is a popular site for divers. Key features include the remains of the aft cargo hold, winches, propeller shaft, and a rudder post. The wreck is relatively accessible for divers with appropriate training, making it an interesting dive for those exploring historical shipwrecks.

The Spyros wreck, like many dive sites, is home to diverse marine life. While the exact species vary depending on the season, divers can typically expect to encounter a range of crustaceans, sea anemones, and various fish species, including wrasse and pollock. The wreck provides shelter for marine creatures, making it an excellent spot for underwater wildlife observation. The surrounding environment is often rich with marine flora and fauna, adding to the appeal for divers exploring the site.

PLEASE DO NOT DIVE THROUGH THIS WRECK IF YOU ARE NOT WRECK QUALIFIED.
