Join us to mark 100 years since the official opening of Painted Fabrics Ltd at the Little Norton site by HRH Princess Mary on August 8th 1925. Founded to support disabled ex-WW1 servicemen, Painted Fabrics was a community of cottages and workshops where the servicemen and their families lived and worked - creating beautifully printed textiles for clothing and homeware.
The site was redeveloped in the late 1960s with local authority housing. This event is a chance to visit the memorial room at Little Norton Drive and enjoy a guided walk round the area to learn more about this fascinating site and its history. Please pre-book.
