Early Show: The Lumber Barons

The Lumber Baron’s music is an original blend of garage psych funk, disco, soul jazz, afrobeat and krautrock written and played by veteran musicians who emerged from Vancouver’s alternative music scene. Formed in late 2016, the band has reached into the vault and brought forward a unique mix of influences, elevated by the skill and experience of the individual musicians. The band features Finn Manniche on guitar, Chris Macleod on Arp synthesizer and organ, Tim Smyth on bass, and Ross Hales on drums.
