Identifying Native Trees, Shrubs, and Other Plants

Join us at Copley Community Orchard to explore the incredible diversity of trees and other plants growing in our local ecosystem. Together, we’ll learn how to identify common native and non-native species by their leaves, bark, flowers, and growth habits. This session will deepen your connection to the land, highlight the ecological importance of native and non-native plants, and give you practical skills to recognize and appreciate them throughout the seasons.

As you may know, Copley Community Orchard relies on donations to sustain its operations since it is not a City of Vancouver park. The orchard's funding comes from grants and contributions, making your support invaluable. If you are able to contribute, online donations are preferred, but we also accept cash for your convenience.

The suggested donation for the season is $20.00 to $50.00 or $5.00 per event.
