We are taking bookings for our PACE August Field Trip to visit Harold’s Park Wildland, the exciting new 206 hectare rewilding project being carried out by nature restoration company Nattergal. It is a wonderful opportunity, offered to us by Tom Moat, manager of the project and PACE Trustee.
Date and time: Saturday 2nd August 9.00am - approx 13.30.
Travel arrangements: The 30-seater coach is leaving from The Walls, Manningtree, near Kiln Lane at 9.00am. There is roadside car parking all along The Walls. Return time approximately 13.30.
Destination: Harold's Park Wildland, Nazeing Common, Bumbles Green, Waltham Abbey, EN9 2SF
Cost: On this occasion we will be asking for a £15 contribution towards the cost of the coach.
Useful information: We will be walking on uneven ground, so are strongly advised to wear sturdy footwear, and clothing/accessories suitable for the weather conditions, whether they be heatwave or rainstorm!
Book soon to be sure of a place, as spaces are limited. To book your place, or to ask any questions, or if cost is a problem, please email or post a message to us here. Once you have booked your place, we will send further details, including how to make your payment.
[NB This field trip is instead of a Tuesday evening PACE meeting or outing. There will be no meeting on Tuesday 5th August.]
