Fabulous tunes and energetic dances from the seventeenth-century onwards. The eccentric grandparent of ceilidh and contra dancing!
Dancers, callers, musicians and beginners at all of these things welcome.
Dances are called gender free and all callers enthusiastically welcomed. If you would like some support with calling a dance please get in touch with Daisy or Andrew.
All the dances are taught from scratch and sheet music is provided for those who like to read it (playing by ear is also fine).
VENUE: Shakespeare's, Gibraltar Street.
The nearest tram stop is Shalesmoor (then a 8 min walk). There are several buses along that route. On street parking outside the pub and in the car parks of Allen Street
