Piggy Banks | Youth & Family Clay Workshop

Get muddy and make your very own piggy bank in this family workshop! Using handbuilding techniques, kids will sculpt and decorate a one-of-a-kind piggy bank with a coin slot and removable stopper. From classic pigs to silly monsters, participants can use their imagination to create a unique piece to store their coins in.
Students will be able to pick the glaze color of their choice for their pieces. SCCA staff will fire and glaze all pieces following the class. Participants will be emailed when their pieces are complete and ready for pickup. This takes a minimum of 4-6 weeks.
Youth & Family Clay Workshops are creative, hands-on classes open to families and youth ages 7 and up. Kids ages 7+ may attend independently or alongside a parent or guardian. Children as young as 3 are welcome with a registered adult — in this case, both the child and accompanying adult must each register for the class. Families are encouraged to create together and make it a fun, collaborative experience!
All sign-ups are $30 per person, regardless of age. Each participant must be registered individually.
