TUESDAY 23RD SEPTEMBER 2025 | 7PM | FREE ENTRY
After a summer break, Synch Pulse returns to guide the viewer on a strange journey into a beguiling world of experimental short films - travelling from weddings to curious happenings and featuring a weird and wonderful selection of enigmatic shorts from the past and present.
Likely to enchant and transfix, taking in the arcane and unclassifiable, this month's theme is a natural fit for avant-garde movies, and the programme will include animations, offbeat documentaries, and vintage adverts and trailers, to accompany some uncanny experimental creations.
Synch Pulse is a monthly free entry experimental film night featuring a different theme for each programme, represented by archive and contemporary shorts, animations, and documentaries. With a strong emphasis on electronic music and experimental soundtracks, the evenings are compiled and presented by artist, musician and filmmaker Ian Helliwell.
