URGENT PUBLIC MEETING
As you are aware after a year of lies and subterfuge( in our opinion), Marie Curie UK have confirmed the permanent closure of the inpatient wards with uncertainty over the future of all service provision. Staff have been made redundant.
Patients and families are facing an uncertain future, increasing anxiety and distress at their most vulnerable.
The management have disregarded the core values and ethos of the hospice.
We are calling an URGENT PUBLIC MEETING to:
*Share the facts about what's happened behind the scenes.
*Discuss serious community concerns and possible leadership failings
*Decide our next steps together to fight for the survival of our hospice
*Explore legal, political and public pressure options to protect our hospice services.
THIS IS OUR HOSPICE, THIS IS OUR FIGHT TO SAVE IT!

Please try to attend, we need your support urgently! We have no way to control numbers, however, the venue has a specific capacity and we will need to adhere to their health and safety rules and capacity.
