Want to learn more about why Māori Wards matter, or feel informed when talking about it with friends and whānau? This evening is for you!

Everyone is welcome - we’ll chat about what Māori Wards are, why the upcoming referendum is so important, and you'll have the chance to kōrero with our panel of Massey and local community leaders about how we strengthen democracy in the Manawatū.

Our panel speakers will include Prof. Richard Shaw, Hinemoana Durie-Shedlock, Dr. Matt Wynyard, Prof. Mohan Dutta, and June Nicklin. We will be based in the Digital Hub of the Palmerston North Central Library (through the entrance on George Street).

Come join for some great conversations and a stronger future for our community!
