Environmentally Friendly Lawn Substitutes

At 6 p.m. Tuesday, August 5, The Center at Belvedere will host a free presentation by the Piedmont Master Gardeners on “Strategies for Environmentally Friendly Lawn Substitutes.” Master Gardener Janette Martin will provide an overview of best practices for a sustainable lawn and options for replacing some lawn with clover, ground covers, and wildlife-friendly native plant beds.
