A Stitch In Time - Free drop in event

A Stitch in Time is a joint project between Thames Chase, the local community and supported by Kite Spirit Textile Group.
Members of the community are welcome to join Kite Spirt at a free drop in session at the Thames Chase Forest Centre.

We would like you to contribute towards our textile panels, depicting the past, present and the future of Thames Chase Community Forest.

Materials will be provided but please bring along any cotton like non-stretchy fabric and any yarn and thread.
You can start by creating smaller pieces like leaves, flowers or insects. And if you can attend regularly, you will be able to start working on bigger pieces such as buildings.

You can also support us by dropping off any pre made pieces from home.
We will be creating 3 separate textile panels to be displayed in our heritage barn. All sewing materials and equipment will be provided.
