The Jesse Barrett Trio at Milestones Jazz Club

Percussionist and tabla player 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘁 (ex-Mammal Hands) believes everything is rhythm and everything is resonant. At this Milestones debut he leads his exciting new band through multi layered ambient music that blur the lines between ancient and modern. Drawing on North Indian rhythms, jazz improvisation, electronics and sampling, the trio create atmospheric art of tensile swing and beauty. With the great 𝗣𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 (saxophones / flute) and 𝗢𝘄𝗲𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻 (electric / double bass).
