SUP on the Salt River

We’ll drop off the vehicles at the exit spot — Phon D Sutton (search for “Lower Salt River Interpretive Trail” on the map). Please meet in the parking lot by 6:40 AM. We will then carpool upriver and launch the SUPs at “Water Users.” You must be able to manage your own watercraft — independence is required. You’ll also need a parking pass.
Bring what you need: Water, snacks, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses with a strap, Dry bag for keys/phone
Water shoes or sandals that stay on
Safety Notes:
Life jackets are optional. This is at your own risk.
Know your limits—this stretch has some current
Stay with the group unless we say otherwise

Check the forecast — we go unless there’s lightning or unsafe river flow
