Make your own teddy bear (4 week course) (10+)

Learn to make your very own teddy bear in this unique 4 week course! Design and construct your bear from start to finish.



Attendees will need to bring a square meter of non-stretch and non-furry fabric of their choosing.



If attendees have no prior experience hand-stitching or using a sewing machine, it is highly recommended to attend our hour long Introduction to teddy bear making workshop. This will be running at 10am-11am on the 28th July in Create98Two. Booking is available via our website.



Week 1CUT..Select and cut out your bear.Learn how to lay pattern out and cut out.Short lesson on tacking fabric.



Week 2SEW.Tack and sew your bear.Learn the order you construct your bear and sew.



Week 3FILLLearn how to turn your inside out and fill and pad him out.



Week 4FINISHEnjoy giving your bear his finishing look.Learn how to sew buttons and bows ,create their face.



Week 5 is an extra session for those who have missed a session or want to sew garments for your bear. Booking for this extra session is available via our website.



Week 5DRESS.Why not join us for an extra class to dress your bear.
