Eythrope Walled Garden Open Day

This year marks the 150-year anniversary of the gardens at Eythrope, created by Alice de Rothschild in 1875 who transformed the grounds from what was ‘little more than a swamp and a wilderness’, into a bountiful garden and park. With the Walled Garden at Eythrope having been reestablished to its original function of supplying flowers and produce to the Manor, its produce is used across the Waddesdon estate. A four-acre working garden on this scale is rare in the 21st century and Eythrope is well known for its excellence and is a haven for combining traditional methods with best practices.

Join us for an Open Day to discover the garden on this special anniversary year. Refreshments and produce from the garden will be available to purchase on the day.
