Junior Naturalist Academy- End of Summer Event

Do you have a young, nature-curious family member? Be sure to check out Jefferson County Greenways' new Junior Naturalist Academy for their end-of-summer event at Ruffner Mountain.
It's the perfect opportunity for your child to get outside and explore nature through hands-on science, nature hikes, and creative eco-art projects, while you prepare for the upcoming school year.

Naturalists will be grouped by age (7–9 and 10-12), with a max of 15 per group. The daily schedule includes outdoor exploration, STEAM activities, and games designed to build confidence, foster friendships, and promote environmental awareness in a fun and inclusive setting.
