Thanks to support from the New Mexico Music Commission and the Friends of the Public Library, we're thrilled to present two special performances by Lara Ruggles.

Her new album Anchor Me—her first under her own name in nine years—is a vulnerable and powerful return to form. Raised in the desert outside Tucson and rooted in the Colorado folk scene, Lara's songwriting blends emotional intimacy with a strong sense of place. After years performing electro-pop as Sharkk Heartt, she now shares the songs that didn’t fit that project—songs that are personal, reflective, and deeply human.
