Heritage Week Open Day

Explore the foundations of the town of Ennis with a visit to the 13th century Ennis friary. Learn about the start of the town through this structure built in limestone on an island site, which continues to be a significant landmark in the town to this day. During Heritage Week you are welcome to come and participate in a cultural activity in the heart of Ennis.

Join a guided tour at 12 noon or 3.00 pm or explore at your own pace throughout the day. Take some timeout to pause, reflect, and admire centuries of art, and architecture.
