The Don't Be Too Polite Girls, Dale Dengate, Kerith Power and Molly Jane Ellis have
have been performing for decades, separately and together at Folk festivals and concerts and in the shower.
They draw on the importance of word and rhymes, using a sense of humour and parody in getting their ideas across to audiences
They’ve written contemporary verses and revived traditional songs, especially about women’s experiences.
More recently inspired by Dale‘s late husband, John Dengate, they have written saucy and serious political parodies. They encourage Folkies to join in choruses and enjoy a lively performance.
