As part of the Second Sunday Talks, we'll be hosting Olivia Williams, the Regional Bear Coordinator for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, at the Leon County Main Public Library on Sunday, August 10th, at 2 PM.

Originally from south Florida, Olivia grew up fascinated by the diversity of Florida’s wildlife. Her enthusiasm for the natural world led her north to pursue environmental studies at Florida State University.

During her time in the Panhandle, Olivia has become passionate about the incredible species and ecosystems that exist in this part of the state.

Now as the East Panhandle Area Bear Biologist with FWC’s Bear Management Program, Olivia works with citizens to promote coexistence between people and bears.

Seating is limited to 45 and participants must pre-register.
