Working bee - National Tree Day

We will meet to remove W**d from one of our early planting sites and we will have a small number of seedlings for underplanting.

This activity is suitable for individuals, students, residents and family group volunteers. Our numbers are capped, and we cannot accommodate large groups or corporates at this activity.

Meeting point: Rear car park of Oaklands Wetland & Reserve. Please look for our volunteer equipment trailer, a registration table will be set up near the trailer for new volunteers to complete registration on the day.

The friends supply insurance, supervision, plants, tools, equipment, PPE and knowledge of plants versus W**d species. We will also supply morning tea.

Please dress for a morning outside in nature: long pants, long sleeved shirt/top, broad-brimmed hat, closed shoes, sun glasses and rain gear if there is a chance of a shower.

Please bring your own bottle of water and a back pack for personal medication/s, snacks and other personal items.
